Here is a video of us building the set
Before building the actual set, I hadameeting with my crew and gave them all the risk assessment for production and explained any risks that could happen when building the set.
After this we came up with rules we had to follow when building the set:
All board joints that can be connected by lying the boards flat on the ground should be, in order to lower the chances of boards falling on people.
Before moving a board everybody who is not helping move it should stand a safe distance away from the parts of set being moved.
Each board that is being moved should have at least 2 people moving it at a time to keep theboards stable and easier and safer to move
If the screws need to be put in or adjusted when standing the Boards must be kept steady by at least one other team member
Be careful when handling the hammers not to hit your fingers by accident.
In this video, my crew and I are building the set to make it look like a bedroom. First, we have to take down the existing set and deconstruct it and then get the wood for the backdrop of the set and started assembling them together to make it look like the flat plan of my set.
Toys (Dolls House, Car, Barbie, Stuffed animals) Pink Rug Posters from kids magazines Drawings Kids Sheets and bedding Bed (made of a sofa and sofa cushions)
Directing photos and videos
Directing in the studio
Before the filming process began, I made sure that everyone on set had the risk assessment and knew of the potential risks that could happen and how to avoid certain risks. In these photos, you can see me blocking the scenes with the actors and discussing how they should play the scene as there would be no opportunity to direct during takes because of the live editing.
To direct cinematography I gave each camera a script with individual notes about when to change shot and what to, so that they could become formula with what shots they would have to do, when they would have to change shots and what kind of camera movement would be required and in addition to this I called out the camera movements during the takes.
